Labitolosa
Archaeological site - Roman city
A Hispano-Roman city lying next to la Puebla de Castro. Located in an outstanding geographical setting, references to which date back to the year 551 AD, these archaeological remains are one of the keys to interpreting the process of Romanisation in the Pyrenees.
The site has become recognised as containing some of the most important archaeological remains to be found in Aragon. The city, founded in the first century BC, was probably abandoned at the beginning of the third centuries AD.
